American Visions Art Leasing Program for Businesses

Little River Cove by June Carey, Below is Through Every Mystery by Simon Bull

American Visions Art Gallery
offers purchase and lease-to-own options. Purchase prices for specific original artworks can be quoted on an individual basis.

Our services include consultancy in the selection of artworks to fit your budget, framing, delivery, and installation of artworks selected for the lease. Leased artworks may be exchanged every six months, or at the client's request. And important to remember is that, typically, lease payments for artworks located in commercial premises are tax deductible business expenses

Artwork is leased in renewable rental periods with up to 100 percent of the fee applicable toward purchase. Clients who wish to acquire the work they have rented may do so at any time during the rental period. Monthly fees for leasing artwork range from $28 up, plus tax.

Why Lease?

Renting high quality art for your business can provide many benefits including:

Dress up the workplace: Original paintings and sculpture provide a sophisticated finishing touch for workplaces as well as homes. Renting art allows our corporate clients to enhance their professional environment with work from our finest artists.

Leasing offers fixed lower payments

Provides financing for 100% of the art cost

Conserves both working capital and lines of bank credit

Provides tax advantages in many cases.

Off Balance Sheet Financing - An operating lease keeps the debt, and the corresponding asset, off the company's balance sheet. Therefore, borrowing debt covenants are circumvented, financial ratios are enhanced, and borrowing capacity is increased.

Tax Benefits - An operating lease may allow up to 100% of the monthly payment to be included as an operating expense. Bank financing would allow only the interest costs to be included as operating expenses. Check with your tax advisor to determine how this may LOWER pre-tax income and REDUCE taxes.

Flexible Financing - Canvas leasing provides fixed rate financing with specially structured terms to accommodate the specific needs of the company.

Improving the presentation of your work area and creating a very professional and successful image for your clients and staff

Updating your art at regular intervals to keep up with the current trends or change in décor

Flexibility to meet your needs whether it is variety that you want, or to live with the art before deciding to purchase

Allows businesses to have high quality art without a large capital outlay.

Businesses may realize tax advantages by expensing rental payments - even on an appreciating asset!

Who Can Lease?

Any company, organization, or association can lease short or long term. Short term--3, 6 up to 9 month for small events, weddings, or other needs--such as for selling the home.

How Are Lease Payments Determined?

The monthly payment is based on the term of the lease, price of the art, and the type of leasing plan chosen. The term of a lease may run from 3 to 30 months. Artwork that is leased for more than 9 months, is based on 6% -8% of the art cost. Artwork which is leased for less than 9 months is based on 8 -10% of the art cost.

Can the Lease Be Canceled?
Short term leasing contracts can be written for 3, 6 and 9 months. Long term leasing contracts are written for 6 month periods which can be renewed or cancelled at the end of each renewal period.

Art can be traded for other, leased art before the expiration of the initial term. We also offer a special rate for "buy-out" options during the term of the lease with up to 100% of the lease applied to the purchase price (does not apply for Art Rotation Lease Program).

What art is available for Lease?

Any single work of art or group of art with a combined value of $500 or over may be leased, as can many of our originals.

Does the Gallery deliver and install the art work?
Arrangements for delivery and installation will be made through the artist or through the Gallery for a nominal fee.

Who's responsible for insurance?
As the renter, you are responsible for having appropriate insurance coverage for works you have rented. Check your home/business insurance policy for details. Proof of insurance may be requested.

What if the work gets damaged in my home/business?
You are responsible for any damage up to the purchase price of the art. Your insurance policy should cover the cost of your repair or replacement, but check with your insurance agent to be sure.

How do we Start?

The first step is to arrange for a consultant to visit your business and work with you to select a range of artworks to lease that suits your requirements. We can then discuss your preferred leasing arrangements, prepare the lease and agree on a time to return to install the artworks.

Art Rotation Lease Program
Our Art Rotation Lease Program offers an affordable way to display high quality artwork for your project. It is ideal for commercial buildings, private offices, residential applications and model home displays. Artwork is leased on an annual rental basis, but is changed out during the lease period. This program offers a distinct advantage to property owners or renters who want to minimize the cost of artwork, while providing a variety of fresh, appealing art. Any art that is leased within this program is available for purchased at the end of the lease period at a discount. Please contact us for more details on our Art Rotation Lease Program.

Once it is learned that a limited edition is becoming very low the gallery will notify and offer leasee of option to purchase for the original price. If leasee chooses not to purchase, lease loses their opportunity to purchase at original price.

Patrons agree to be responsible for damage to, or loss of artworks while in their possession.

Artwork displayed includes art by George Hallmark, Simon Bull, June Carey and Dianne Mattar and Cao Yong
